Elders Support: does the extended Family Eco-system work?

A place where 2 to 3 generation live and survive together is called family eco-system. This family eco-system plays a very important role to take care of the elders in a family. At present youngsters are really not making themselves a part of this family eco-system which is causing a side effect to elders. Isn’t it strange that there are no options for the families who don’t have the old age home option or do not wish to go for that option ?

One of the options nowadays is the townships being developed around senior citizens, with various facilities and options tailored for them.
